I am an American photographer now living in the UK with my wife and our beloved border collie.
I have been pursuing fine art photography passionately for well over 25 years, participating in group and solo exhibitions in the US and selling work both there and in Europe.
My studio based Still Life photography takes inspiration from a variety of sources, including the 17th century Dutch and Spanish masters of Still Life such as Adriaen Coorte and Juan Sanchez Cotan, whose works often feature seemingly simple and frequently ephemeral objects depicted in austere environments.
I am also drawn to depictions of the outside world, whether in capturing the vastness of open spaces, or the intricacies of a forest, or an urban landscape.
Other portfolios include the written word, exploring personal and currently relevant themes.
In addition to my website, I am fortunate to have permanent gallery space in Lewes, East Sussex, where selected images from my portfolio can be viewed by appointment.
